PAY IT FORWARD The Women In Ministry are sponsoring a monthly “Pay It Forward” blessing. We encourage you to bring the designated items for that month and drop them in the containers that will be located in the back of the auditorium in the main Church building, the foyer in the Ed. Building, and at the Lighthouse. The item needed for February is’The Works’, tub & shower cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner.
COME HAVE LUNCH WITH US! If you have recently visited one of our worship services, we would like to invite you to a FREE lunch, Sunday, March 4 @ the Lighthouse, immediately following the 10:30 service. You will have the opportunity to meet the staff at FCC, and allow us to meet you.
NEW ADULT OPPORTUNITY If you attend the 9:15 service, and are looking for something to do following that service, join us for 9:15 Part II. Immediately following the 9:15 service we now offer a new class, with more classes forming soon. Come and meet some new people and stay for a time of fellowship and discussion. Programming continues during this time in the Education Building for all children.
SENIOR SAINTS will meet for lunch @ the Lighthouse, Tuesday, Feb. 21st, 11:30 am. Menu will be Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes w/gravy, Green Been Casserole, Salad, Rolls and Dessert. Ziden Nutt will be the special guest speaker. Contact the church office to reserve you place.
MEN…ROLL UP YOUR SLEEVES and join us Saturday, Feb. 18th @ 8:00 am for a work day! We will be patching some walls, painting, cleaning, vacuuming and hauling items from the large 2 story house @ 803 Grant and from the women’s bathroom in the church basement. No special skills are needed to help, but you can bring cleaning rags, buckets, paint brushes, roller & scrapers, and tools for minor repairs.
MEN’S MOVIE NIGHT & RIB DINNER! Saturday, February 25th@ 6 :00 pm ALL men are invited to a MOVIE & RIB DINNER. The movie, COURAGEOUS, and rib dinner will be provided at NO COST. To plan for enough food, we will need to know how many are attending. Please contact the church officeif you plan to attend. Don’t forget to invite a friend!
PRETEEN GIRLS LOCK-IN ALL 3rd – 6th grade girls are invited to a lock-in beginning Friday, March 2nd @ 6:30 pm – Saturday, March 3 @ 2:00 pm. You won’t want to miss this special event with many surprises in store. Cost is $10. Contact the church office to get signed up.
LADIES Mark your calendar for the next Mug’s & Muffin’s, Saturday, March 10 @ 9:00 am. This will be at the home of Carla Middleton. Amanda Martinez will be our special guest and Rebecca Souder will be leading us in music. Don’t forget to bring your favorite mug and come enjoy a morning of ‘Sweet Fellowship’!
TEACHER MEETING All teachers who help with Pre K-6th grade are asked to attend a teacher meeting, Sunday, March 11th @ noon. Lunch and childcare will be provided.
OZARK CHRISTIAN COLLEGE will host this year’s Preaching Teaching Convention 2012 Feb 27-28-29. This convention is designed for all Believers (adults, teens and children). To find out more about this convention, go to www.OCC.edu/PT. Dinner will not be served this night and adult and children services will dismiss Wednesday, February 29th so we can attend this convention. Youth will still meet.
